Homemade Snow Cones

We live in a small community of about 2,800 people on an island so our children don’t have many opportunities of getting snow cones.

So this morning my daughter came up with this idea for making snow cones. She mashed up some frozen otter pops and put them into an ice cream cone.  Although Jasper enjoyed the treat, I thought that that simply would not do!

Solution: We got out the freezer paper that is wax (at least I hope it’s wax) lined and she formed “cones” out of the paper.

We were in business.

Virginia is a genius!

Asa made one too – of course!

Jasper too
